Eric Santos is a former National Board Certified Teacher, Regional Ed Tech Coordinator, workshop facilitator, and highly sought-after speaker with 20+ years of experience in public education. He currently serves as Director of Technology for a Chicagoland high school district.
Thanks to his previous work with the Learning Technology Center, Eric grew to become a leading expert in Chicagoland on Artificial Intelligence, 3D Printing, Drones, Makerspace and STEM Lab design, and Google Workspace training for educational institutions. Eric started Better Teaching in 2017 to help educators improve teaching and learning with technology, and now has transitioned the organization to focus on states outside of the LTC's focus area.
Eric has presented nationally at the ISTE, FETC, IDEACon, and IETC conferences, and is a regular at local ed tech conferences in the Chicago area.
He has consulted with numerous districts of all sizes on their AI strategy, including policy and guidance, professional development planning, curriculum integration, and parent outreach.
Eric also consults with districts on STEM purchases, program development, and planning for innovative learning. He provides keynote speeches to organizations in both the public and private sectors.
