About Eric

Eric Santos is a National Board Certified Teacher, workshop facilitator, and highly sought-after speaker with 19 years of experience in education. He currently serves as the Regional Ed Tech Coordinator for Chicagoland at the Learning Technology Center of Illinois.

Thanks to his work with the LTC, Eric is considered a leading expert in Chicagoland on Artificial Intelligence, 3D Printing, Drones, Makerspace and STEM Lab design, and Google Workspace training for educational institutions. Eric started Better Teaching in 2017 to help educators improve teaching and learning with technology, and now has transitioned the organization to focus on states outside of the LTC's focus area.

Eric has presented nationally at the ISTE, FETC, IDEACon, and IETC conferences, and is a regular at local ed tech conferences in the Chicago area.

He has consulted with numerous districts of all sizes on their AI strategy, including policy and guidance, professional development planning, curriculum integration, and parent outreach.

Eric also consults with districts on STEM purchases, program development, and planning for innovative learning.
